Operations Console LAN interface setup

I am trying to switch my console type on 9406/820 from twinax to
Operations Console LAN attached. I have a 2838 in tower 1 C03 as
described in the manual. The manual talks about how to install
operations navigator and operations console. It talks about how to
configure a new LCS LAN connection in Operations Console. It even
tells you how to change the console type in DST.

The item that I cannot find is where it talks about how to configure
the network card (2838 10/100 ethernet) for use with Operations Console
LAN connectivity.
Any advise on this process would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing has to happen for the LAN card to become console, but the LAN card
must be dedicated to the console. If the line has a line config (i.e.
ETHLINE) that is varied on then the console will not connect.

Don't mixed up the different type of consoles. Ops Console and LAN Console
is different case, if you need to configure Ops Console, there is nothing
you need to touch the 2838 network card, unless you are configuring a LAN
Console.
