Hello,
We recently bought some 122-key (24 cmd keys) keyboards to use on our
PC's to make it more convenient fof users of clienta access. We
bought them from pckeyboard and they do not require a driver.
Although we added some items to the .kmp file in client access.
Anyway, two keys on the keyboard, which were "repeat" keys on the old
dumb terminal keyboards are the backtab and new line keys. In the
.kmp file the backtab key is associated with the forward tab key and
you would think it would function just the same, but it doesn't,
because if you do a "shft" tab (which backtabs), it repeats. However,
if you press the backtab key (which is to the right of the enter key)
it doesn't auto-repeat. Nor does the "new line" key.
We have a lot of applications that use many of the command keys and
it's a lot more convenient to just press F13 instead of shift-F1.
Like I said, these are "driverless" keyboards, and they work great
except that we would sure like the "auto-repeat" function on these two
particular keys. Anyone have any solution on how to make that happen?
thanks,
ga
