How do I logon as a different user when using iSeries Access V5R2M0? In the
old CA product I could disconnect and reconnect. I don't see that option.

Thanks!

Yes, that works great for the 5250 session.

But my question was regarding Navigator (as stated in subject line).

'CA' V4 used to have an option for this. In 'IA' V5 it's gone.

In the Navigator left window, right click on the system name or ip address,
left click on properties, left click on connection tab.

I did this but it still will not log me off.

Hmmm. But if I close Navigator with this setting to prompt me, it will
allow me to logon as someone else next time. Not as simple as the old CA
(pre "Express") method of right-clicking on the server name and choosing
"disconnect" but it works.

Thanks.

I vaguely recall the diconnect/reconect operation you are referring to,
but I do not remember that affecting any of the active server
connections already established under the first user profile. My memory
is somewhat fuzzy on this point though.

I do not recall Operations Navigator ever having the ability to logoff
and logon as a different user without shutting down and restarting the
Op Nav application (or starting a new instance of the app). Given the
decentralized structure of the Op Nav components and third-party
plug-ins, there was no way to guarantee that all active server
connections and cached data for a given user would be destroyed while
switching users. The programming effort to get that guarantee is very
substantial.
